You can order your catfish thick or thin, it’s always fried to perfection. There are no reservations at Middendorf’s, founded in the 1930s, but that doesn’t stop the masses from waiting patiently. TJRIBS are the best ribs in town but they are very very stingy with their sides. His beans cant be more than an ounce or two in a small bowl. His fries look like they have been counted before being placed on the plate. If you go do like I do and order the corn on the cob. Safe bet.

To say now that Chris' has the best filet mignon in BTR is almost ludicrous.... unless of course you like gristle... the last time there I had to deal with a ridiculous amount of same.. and was told that if I wanted a filet without such, then I should have ordered a *center cut* filet!!! Preposterous! I have enjoyed filet mignon's around the world and never once have I ever been told such foolishness... I am compelled for this reason to share with everyone that Fleming's and Sulivan's are FAR SUPERIOR in this category... regardless of the outcome of this voting....and there you have...."the rest of the story" G'day..

While I enjoy the baby back ribs at TJ Ribs as much as anyone, they are not the best. I had my mind changed after someone suggested having the ribs at Superior Bar and Grill. I was skeptical at first, but they were correct. And I honestly don't know how they didn't make it in at least the top three. I've eaten baby back ribs everywhere I could find in town, and Superior has them all beat. My top three would be Superior, TJs and J. Alexander...Just my .02 though.

Ribs? Try brother's on Government. Gristle on a Filet, no, its silver skin, like gristle but not really. It is there because of poor butchery skills. Chain restaurants are all that BR has really, and what is not chain, for the most part all have the same menu. That's why these polls are so crazy. They have the same result the FUN section or my elementary school yearbooks had 20 to 30 years ago. I hate to break y'alls hearts, but BR is not a food town.

Duwang Tawan is the best Thai in town.
This survey needs to be redone with a wider audience. I mean, Picadilly as a vegetarian restaurant? C'mon!
And I cannot believe the three best coffee places in town are CC's, Starbucks and Coffee Call. What about Perks, Highland Coffee? These are locally owned, great places.

I don't think Flemings is fine dining. Slapping a steak on a plate and serving it with zero effort on presentation makes Flemings a B rater on my list. The only thing upscale here are the prices. They really need to get creative.
